Develop shoots across the globe to visit the GripShift devs in NZ

This weekâ??s studio profile: Sidhe

Our weekly series of studio profiles continues with a look at Sidhe, the New Zealand-based developer behind Gripshift on the PSP and PlayStation Network.

Currently hard at work with Warner Brothers Interactive on a Speed Racer title for the Wii, the company has had a diverse softography in its ten years, having worked on casual downloadable PC titles, handheld games and both boxed and digitally distributed console titles.

The studio is also one of the founding members of the New Zealand Game Developers Association and works with the government and other bodies to further the game development cause in the country.

The profile reveals MD Mario Wynands’ view on how the NZ industry needs more support, and the studios ambitions to produce Xbox Live Arcade and WiiWare titles.
