Tiga board shuffle brings in Remode’s Ella Romanos

Ella Romanos, the managing director of Devon outfit Remode Studios, has become the latest board member of UK games trade organisation Tiga.

Romanos, who supports the South West games industry through her Extended Play organisation, joins Tiga as part of a wider board membership shuffle.

“Tiga does a fantastic job in campaigning for the industry and in helping small companies develop and grow,” Romanos said.

“As a Tiga board member I will be working to ensure that our trade association supports emerging game developers across the UK.”

Also joining the board is Ubisoft Reflections managing director Giselle Stewart; Boss Level CEO Nick Brown; Neon Play chief executive Oli Christi; Kuju COO Adrian Hawkins; and 4T2 executive Mike Hawkyard.

Tiga does not disclose when its board members depart, so the full extent of the shuffle is not clear. Industry executive Chris Kempt, as well as Toytek CEO Georgina Mackenzie, appear to have both left recently.

The group’s other board members include Gareth Edmondson, Mark Gerhard, Colin Anderson, John Chasey, Ian Hetherington, Patrick O’Luanaigh, Philip Oliver and Mark Webley.
