Former boss of Microprose and Hasbro Interactive teams up with Scottish mo-cap firm

Tim Christian joins Dimensional Imaging board

Dimensional Imaging has welcomed industry veteran Tim Christian to its board of directors.

Christian has more than 25 years of experience in the games industry, having previously been in charge of Microprose and Hasbro Interactive. In 2000, he became a strategic advisor for various games companies.

He is currently principal of chairman of analytics firm DeltaDNA and principal of TC Associates, which carries out royalty audits for well-known publishers and developers.

"I am delighted to be joining Dimensional Imaging’s board of director at such an exciting time in the company’s development," said Christian. "I believe that the company’s high definition facial capture technology has huge potential in the games industry, particularly with the introduction of the new generation of games consoles.

"I am very much looking forward to helping DI expand further into the global games market and to capitalise fully on all of the opportunities that are available to the company."

DI’s CEO Colin Urquhart added: "I’m delighted to welcome Tim onto the board and I am very much looking forward to working closely with him. Having been involved in the industry at the highest level for over 20 years, Tim brings a wealth of experience and industry knowledge to the company."
