Tokyo Game Show 2008 dates announced

Famitsu reports that CESA has set the dates for this year’s Tokyo Game Show 2008, which will take place from October 9th to 12th – several weeks later than its usual September spot.

TGS2008 will follow last year’s lead of being a four day event, in contrast to previous years’ three days. The 9th and the 10th will be business days, while the final two will be open to the public.

Last year’s event was the biggest yet, recording 193,040 visitors over the show period. CESA hopes to top that again this year, with more details on the event set for release at a press event on February 15th.
