HMTL5 platform aids development on all devices

TreSensa launches cross platform HTML5 SDK

TreSensa has launched a new platform it claims can help social and mobile developers create games compatible with all devices.

The company specializes in HTML5 based solutions, and offers support for the entire lifecycle of a game.

A $1 million round of angel funding has helped the company develop its SDK, which it says can lower cost and time to let developers focus on fun.

“Within the emerging mobile and social gaming markets, we recognize the need for social games to go mobile and for mobile games to become more social,” said Rob Grossberg, CEO of TreSensa.

“To bridge the gap between the social and mobile markets, we provide a framework, technologies and services tailored to meet the demands of game studios.”

Tresensa, founded by former Tremor Video executives Rob Grossberg and Vincent Obermeier and former Codewalla CEO Rakesh Raju, is based in New York with an R&D team in Pune, India.

Raju, TreSensa’s CTO, will be leading a session on July 26th at this summer’s Casual Connect conference in Seattle entitled “Rapid Game Development for the Mobile Web: The story of Happy Tree Friends – Strandead.”

“Strandead," a new game based on the hit animated property Happy Tree Friends and developed by Mondo Studios, was released this week and is one of the first games developed using TreSensa’s tech.
