Trioviz acquires Darkworks stereoscopic tools

Tech outfit Trioviz has acquired stereoscopic middleware tools from independent game and technology company Darkworks.

The Darkworks middleware development team will now work with the Paris-based company on future tools and updates.

“Thanks to this acquisition, Trioviz is poised to become the recognized standard for 3D stereoscopic technology in video games,” said company CEO Hervé Debbah.

“Trioviz is now the unique global provider of Trioviz for Games and we will soon announce the release of even more game titles embedded with our technology.”
