Unreal Engine 4 modder recreates Shenmue in HD

An Unreal Engine 4 modder has used the tool to build a HD version of Dreamcast classic Shenmue.

Korean fan NoconKid originally began remaking the game in UE3, but has since switched to UE4, reports Eurogamer.

So far, he has recreated the Hazuki Residence, which you can check out in the video below.

NoconKid created the model of Ryo by modifying the version of the character from Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing.

The project follows hot on the heels of Shenmue 3 breaking records for crowdfunded video games on Kickstarter.
