Chinese company grows to employ 500 people across China

Virtuos workforce hits new milestone

Virtuos studios, 3D Art and Co-development specialists, has grown to employ 500 people across its centers in Shanghai and Chengdu, China.

The milestone was reached as the studio became the first independent company in China to be developing a retail title for all current-generation console platforms. New staff were also recently hired to produce online games, concept art and CG-movie assets.

“Steady expansion continues to enhance our ability to deliver on the natural competitive advantage of production in China,” said Virtuos CEO Gilles Langourieux. “We have been fortunate over the years to have the benefit of excellent talent attracting great projects, and great projects attracting more excellent talent.”
