Scott Warner leaves 343 Industries for Dead Space studio

Visceral picks up Halo 4 lead designer

The project lead designer for Halo 4, Scott Warner, has left 343 Industries and has taken a job as design director with Visceral Games.

Warner began his career at Black Isle Studios, then joined Pandemic Studios where over the course of seven years he developed such titles as Mercenaries, Mercenaries 2: World in Flames, and Full Spectrum Warrior.

He spent four years at 343, but broke the news of his latest job on Monday via Twitter.

“Today I’m starting work as a Design Director for Visceral Games. Excited,” he told followers.

Visceral is best known for the Dead Space series of games, and while it hasn’t abandoned the franchise it has been confirmed to be working on a new Star Wars game for EA.
