Telltale's critically celebrated horror serial gets session at Nordic conference

Telltale Games’ celebrated horror serial The Walking Dead will be discussed in a keynote presentation at the Nordic Conference next month in Malmö, Sweden.

The keynote, entitled ‘The Talking Dead: Voicing a Dynamic Narrative’, will open the second day of the conference, and it will be presented by Jory Prum, recording and mastering engineer on the first season of The Walking Dead.

Jory will be leading a panel consisting of Eric Parsons, writer at Telltale Games, as well as voice actors Dave Fennoy (Lee) and Nicki Rapp (Lily).

The panel will be guide the audience through the Telltale’s challenge of writing, casting, recording, directing and ultimately giving voice to the episodic game that “ranges from extreme subtlety to intense action”.

The keynote completes the trio of highlighted talks at this year’s Nordic Game conference.

Already announced keynote speakers are Double Fine’s Tim Schafer, who will do the opening talk on 23 May, and David Helgason, founder and CEO of Unity Technologies.

Nordic Game 2013 tales place from May 22nd to 24th in Malmö, Sweden. The early Bird discount ends on May 1st.
