App reaches more than 140,000 downloads in three months

Whale Trail craze hits Android

UsTwo’s hit iOS game Whale Trail has today been released on Android.

The move comes after the title’s success on IOS, which to date has reached more than 140,000 downloads since its October release.

The studio will hope that the move can help the critically acclaimed game make a profit on the £150,000 investment put into the title.

Last month co-founder Mills revealed that through 2011, the studio had made £113,053 from downloads of its apps, which also included apps Nursery Rhymes and Papercut.

Mills admitted to Develop however that whilst he would like the game to do well, if it isn’t a success financially, the studio “would be fine with that”.
