Which developer does John Johnson most admire?

The CEO at Smoking Gun Interactive is the newest developer to be part of Develop’s weekly FAQ feature, revealing his admiration for both Warren Spector and Valve.

John Johnson says that Spector has “always created compelling interesting games, and stories that you could dive into and get lost.”

More divisively, however, Johnson admitted he was a fan of U2!

Elsewhere in the FAQ, Johnson reveals what he loves most about the industry, and shows off his window view of Vancouver’s North Shore Mountain view, and says his studio’s new IP – X – features “a very interesting ending that has never been considered before for entertainment”.
