Wilson: Tax breaks are a massive boost

TIGA CEO Richard Wilson called today’s game industry tax break announcement “a credit to the industry.”

Speaking to Develop, he thanked Labour MP and industry advocate Tom Watson, and government-backed institution NESTA for their help in lobbying for the tax break.

“We’ve been unremittingly tenacious and focused in doing what we needed to do,” he said.

“The UK industry won’t decline now, it will grow. This is a massive boost for the industry, as well as for the national economy. The government have chosen success over failure.”
