Windows 8 Indie Game Dev camp coming to London

Microsoft is bringing its Windows 8 Independent Games Development camp to London later this month.

The event has been designed to educate developers on how they can create games and market them through the new Windows 8 store.

Microsoft’s camp is open to anyone making games through a plethora of coding languages such as HTML, JavaScript, Direct3d and C++.

Short sessions and demos will detail the relevant APIs and system functionality developers need to learn to get their game onto Windows 8.

The event is free for developers to attend, and will take place at Microsoft’s developer camp in London on August 24th.
