Assets and technology for GameMaker: Studio now available in one place

YoYo Games launches GameMaker: Marketplace

Popular indie games toolset Gamemaker: Studio has been expanded to introduce a new asset store.

GameMaker: Marketplace will offers resources in animation, audio, backgrounds, extensions, fonts, objects, paths, rooms, scripts, shaders, spirtes, timelines and more. There will also be support materials such as tutorials and demos.

The marketplace is now in open beta and available to all licencees of Gamemaker: Studio. It can be accessed via YoYo Games’ website, or by updating GameMaker to version 1.4.

"It’s been a goal of ours to establish a place for which the community to access all of the amazing resources available for GameMaker: Studio," said YoYo’s chief marketing officer Michel Cassius.

"The YoYo Games team has been working tirelessly on the Marketplace for many months and the community response to our Early Access release has surpassed expectations. We are thrilled to provide this service to the GameMaker community while offiering another revenue stream for developers."
