Particle effects license for ZeniMax Online Studios project

ZeniMax adopts Fork Particle tech for MMO

ZeniMax Online Studios has announced their licence for Fork Particle SDK particle effects to power the development of an upcoming MMO.

“Spectacular effects bring out the best in game graphics. Fork Particle is robust and feature rich. It has enabled us to make advanced special effects easily and save time with fast iterations,” said ZeniMax Online Studios president Matt Firor.

“Our experience with Fork’s particle system SDK and support has been good. We look forward to a long and durable relationship,” he added.

Fork Particle SDK is intended to simplify particle effects production, using an editor interface and live updates to reduce iteration time. The technology integrates with in-house and commercial game engines.

“We are honoured to have prestigious company such as ZeniMax choose Fork Particle technology. This is a serious endorsement,” said Fork Particle CEO Noor Khawaja.

The Fork Particle technology is also licensed by Microsoft, THQ and Turbine.
