Godus hits Kickstarter goal with days to spare

22 Cans’ Kickstarter effort for Project Godus, what was thought to be a lost cause less than a week ago, has reached its goal with just under two days to spare.

The 450,000 mark was met around 44 hours ahead of the December 21st deadline. The campaign gained quite a bit of steam over the last several days, despite being dead in the water for the majority of the fund-raising period.

A stretch goal of 550,000 is now on the table. If reached, the upcoming god game would come to Linux and Ouya platforms along with the already locked in PC, Mac, iOS, and Android versions.

At time of writing, the Kickstarter has earned 467,158 with 34 hours remaining.
