Halo developer Corrinne Yu leaves Microsoft, joins Naughty Dog

Corrinne Yu, who served as the principal engine programmer of Halo 4 at 343 Industries, has ended her tenure at Microsoft to join Naughty Dog.

Gematsu reports Yu departs after a five-year run with the company, and has already begun her work for Sony’s well-established studio.

Yu herself lists coding on the PlayStation 4 as one of her current duties for Naughty Dog, but stops short of mentioning any specific projects she’s involved in.

However, as some might recall, Naughty Dog just revealed a new Uncharted effort is in the works for PS4 – so that seems to be one likely candidate.

Prior to Yu’s work on the Halo franchise at Microsoft/343, Yu served as Gearbox’s director of technology during the development of Borderlands.
