Hotline Miami dev in talks over possible PlayStation release

Cult ultra-violent PC indie hit Hotline Miami could be on its way to a release on PS3 and PlayStation Vita.

Creator Jonatan Sderstrm told Pocket Gamer that he has already been talking to Sony” about a release on its platforms, although the developer himself doesn’t seem keen to take on the job personally.

"We would need someone to port it for us," he added.

What Sderstrm would likely take on, however, is a possible port to smartphones, adding: "Would be interesting to see if it was possible to get it to play well on a touchscreen device.”

Sderstrm has already revealed plans to patch in joypad support for the PC version of the game.
