Introducing: Indie games month on MCVuk.com

MCV will be publishing daily online articles dedicated to indie games development and publishing.

Our indie games month will feature some of the biggest names in the sector, discussing development, publishing and financing independently-created video games.

It begins today, with an interview with Yooka-Laylee creators Playtonic, while Futurlab owner James Marsden discusses the challenges of self-publishing.

Throughout the month, there will be insight from the likes of Team 17, Curve, Chillingo, Sold Out, 505 Games, Rebellion, Green Man Loaded, Gamer Network, Rising Star and a host of rising and popular independent developers.

We are also asking our readers to get involved:

-Are you a marketing or PR expert who would like to share your advice about the indie publishing space?

-Are you an indie developer who wants to share the story about your story in getting games out there?

Email Alex Calvin at acalvin@nbmedia.comto get involved

And for advertising opportunities, get in touch with Conor Tallon at ctallon@nbmedia.comor call him on 01992 535 647.

Indie month coincides with the launch of Interface. Interface is a brand new event for developers to showcase their games, find investors and partners, and pitch ideas. For more information, click here.
