MCV AWARDS 2014: See the official opening video

Last week’s MCV Awards 2014 kicked off with some of the industry’s greatest squaring off against the apocalypse – and you can see it all here on video.

The short was filmed at Oriental City in Colindale, which has been derelict since 1998. Some – particularly Alex Verrey who used to host Gamesworld for Sky One from there – will remember it as the home of the Sega Centre back in the day.

Oriental City should be on TV screens a lot later this year as the BBC have just shot a major new feature there.

The MCV shoot was likely to be the last it will host as it was due to finally be demolished the day after filming.
