The original Xbox One has been significantly discounted on Microsoft’s UK online store.
A number of 500GB Xbox One bundles have been reduced to just 179.99. The Gears of War 4, Halo 5 and Quantum Break bundles are included in the offer, each of which cost 249.99 prior to the cut.
All three also come with a copy of Forza Horizon 3.
Also available at the same price is a ‘Name Your Game’ bundle that, alongside Forza, allows buyers to pick one of Rise of the Tomb Raider, Gears of War: Ultimate Edition or Rare Replay.
Also discounted are three 1TB machines. User can choose between SKUs that offer either The Division or Rainbow Six Siege alongside Gears of War 4, both of which are down from 299.99 to 199.99. There’s also a barebones console and Kinect bundle for the same price.

We saw a similar thing with PS4 recently when there were aggressive retail promotions to clear stock of the older machine ahead of the arrival of the new slim PS4.
