Sky TV now on Sony PSP

Sony has struck a deal with pay TV giant Sky to offer video content to owners of its PlayStation Portable handheld games console in the UK and Ireland.

The joint venture Go!View on-demand service will offer ‘comedy’, ‘sport’ and ‘entertainment’ programming packages via a monthly subscription, priced at 5 for one pack, 8 for two and 10 for all three. All new users will get one month for free.

A rental TV option is also available at 1.50 per TV episode or 2.50 for a movie.

Programming will include Lost, Desperate Housewives, Doctor Who, Top Gear and FA Premier League football.

Go!View requires subscribers to download the content to their PC before sideloading it to their PSP.
