Dead Space 2 due in 2010?

Reports suggest the sequel to Electronic Arts’ Dead Space could be released in 2010.

A Reuters article claims Dead Space 2 is in development for next year” and just one of a pair of horror offerings” the publisher is working on, alongside the upcoming Dante’s Inferno.

The game was confirmed to be in development by a job advertisement earlier this month, revealing the sci-fi horror sequel is already in pre-production for Xbox 360 and PS3.

The first Dead Space was an original IP that launched to critical acclaim in October 2008. A prequel, Dead Space: Extraction was released at the end of September this year.
