Best Buy to open fourth store in Aintree

Retail giant Best Buy has announced plans to open its fourth outlet in the UK in Aintree, near Liverpool.

It will open four branches in spring this year, which will showcase the latest technologies such as games, consoles and other computer electronics.

The Aintree store will be situated at London and Stamford Property’s Racecourse Retail Park, next to the well-known Aintree racecourse.

Other Best Buy outlets will open in three more locations – Thurrock in Essex, Merry Hill in the West Midlands and Hedge End near Southampton.

CEO of Best Buy branded operations Paul Antoniadis says: This announcement marks a further step forward in our plans to launch Best Buy in the UK this spring.

The Racecourse Retail Park at Aintree is a fantastic location with easy access by car and train, and will allow us to bring our experience to customers living and working in the North West.”

The global retailer says it will create over 100 jobs at its Aintree store. It operates in countries around the world with operations in America, China, Canada, Mexico and Europe.
