Red Dead Redemption movie dated

Red Dead Redemption: The Man from Blackwater will air on June 5th at 11:25pm on FIVE USA.

The film, which has been built entirely by using in-game assets and technology, airs after 3:10 to Yuma and is directed by John Hillcoat – the man behind The Proposition and The Road.

It has been produced to promote and extend the Rockstar-developed franchise.

The production lasts 30 minutes and chronicles a part of John Marston’s attempt to track down former fellow outlaw and friend, Bill Williamson.

The Red Dead Redemption game was released two weeks ago and has been a sales smash, scoring two No.1s and making around 10 million in its first weekend.

The game is available on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
