E3 2010: Milo still in development

For the many who were excited about the unveiling of Microsoft’s Milo at last year’s E3, the lack of a reappearance at this year’s show as a big disappointment – particularly as Peter Molyneux himself had teased that very prospect.

However, Microsoft’s game development boss has claimed that a full Milo title is underway and far eclipses what was seen in its debut outing.

I promise you it is now ten times more amazing than you’d expect it to be from what you saw at E3 2009,” he told CVG. What I showed in Milo then was just a tech demo. I think everyone asked: ‘That was pretty fascinating, but what does it all mean?’

It’s only when you see it in its entirety and play it that you realise it’s robust enough for people to play on their own.”

Milo was in fact on show at this year’s LA event, but sadly it was only a select handful of celebrities who were able to get any hands-on time with the titillating tech experiment.
