Bethesda hack confirmed

Bethesda has confirmed that hackers have attacked several of its websites.

The publisher also reported that personal data from these sites had been compromised, according to VG247.

Hackers were able to access usernames, passwords and email addresses. No personal financial or credit card information was affected.

Though its official blog, Bethesda has advised users to change their passwords for any of its websites, including its community forums and the statistics site for Brink. It also urged consumers to keep an eye out for suspicious emails and account activity”.

The attack follows a warning from hacker group Lulz Sec, which was issued via Twitter over the weekend.
