No physical release for Batman: Arkham Knight on PC, retailer claims

Batman: Arkham Knight will be a digital-only release on PC, retailer ShopTo has said.

The editor of ShopTo’s editorial side claims that the company has been told by a supplier that the game is no longer scheduled for a physical release on the format. It’s not known, if true, whether this is particular to the UK market or if it will also apply elsewhere.

Note that both Amazon and GAME still have the physical PC version up for pre-order.

MCV has contacted Warner Bros for clarification.

Batman: Arkham Knight was originally due for release in late 2014 before being bumped back to this year. It was then pencilled in for June 2nd before earlier this week being pushed back to June 23rd.
