Team17 signs Way to the Woods from teenage developer

Worms creators Team17 has signed another interesting games project – this time from 16 year-old Anthony Tan.

Team17’s transition into publishing big indie titles (or label, as they like to call themselves) has seen it sign some significant releases, including Yooka-Laylee, The Escapists and Allison Road.

The new game is a beautiful title called Way to The Woods, which sees players control a deer and her fawn.

"To join a label that is responsible for helping teams such as Playtonic, Lilith, Mouldy Toof and many more is like a dream come true,” said Tan.

I’m so excited to be working with an experienced label like Team17 and I’m confident that it’s the right positive step for Way to the Woods.”
