The Last of Us 2 seemingly ‘confirmed’ by voice actor Nolan North

Uncharted and The Last of Us voice actor Nolan North has apparently let slip news of a follow-up to Naughty Dog’s massively successful apocalyptic tale.

North, who counts among his prolific game credits Nathan Drake in Uncharted, David in The Last of Us and Penguin in Rocksteady’s Arkham series of Batman games, was speaking as part of aQ&A panel at MetroCon in Florida.

Asked a question about his role as David in Naughty Dog’s 2013 PS3 exclusive, North casually responded: "I know they’re doing a Last of Us 2."

The Last of Us was released to critical acclaim and commerical success, selling more than 3.4 million units in its first three weeks on sale and topping the UK retail harts for six weeks in a row.

A revamped edition of the title, The Last of Remastered, was released a year later on PS4, becoming the biggest-selling title for August.
