The World Ends With You – Solo Remix has landed on App Store, with Square Enix once again slapping a large asking price for one of its iOS ports.
An errant listing on the company’s site last week all but unveiled the DS title was heading to the platform, though at the time it was unclear in what form and for what price.
Those questions were answered rather jarringly with Square Enix’s confirmation, announcing that the game would be available for $17.99 on iPhone (4 or above), and $19.99 for iPad (2 or above).
Perhaps the number of purchases made on Square Enix’s iOS games more than make up for those alienated by the price. The publisher is either actually onto something here, or is bashing its head repeatedly against a brick wall.
