VIDEO: BioShock iOS port coming this summer

A full port of cult first person shooter BioShock has been announced for iOS.

Despite the fact the long-promised Vita version remains MIA, the game will hit iPhone and iPad this summer. Pocket Gamer reports that it will offer full controller support, too.

Senior producer Brian Lowe describes the title as a direct port”, although he added that 2K had to make some minor changes to the graphical features such as removing dynamic shadows, or changing the way fog is displayed due to limitations of the hardware".

The game will be premium priced, just like 2K’s recent 10.49 Civilization Revolution 2. It will support the iPad Air and iPad Mini 2 as well as the 5, 5C and 5S iPhones. There are currently no plans for an Android port.
