XBOX: Crackdown 3 confirmed

Crackdown 3 is official and coming to Xbox One.

Powered by what Microsoft describes as ‘an army of dedicated servers’, big promises have been made about its approach to multiplayer.

Note it actually goes by the name Crackdown, and not Crackdown 3.

The game retains the series’ trademark cel-shaded graphical look, set amongst a vibrant neon city with super-charged vehicles and upgradable super-powers.

The game has certainly been a long time coming, and the trailer shown tonight at E3 will certainly please fans of the IP, delivering on the trademark action familiar to Crackdown fans.

Development is being led by original creator Dave Jones. No release date has yet been set.
