Japanese free-to-play publisher plans to support the growth of Korean developer

Nexon buys a 20 per cent share in Moyasoft

Nexon continues to expand its list of investments by acquiring a 20% share of the Korean social games developer Moyasoft.

The Japanese company, fresh from its IPO launch in December, and currently undergoing a merger with Nexon Mobile, has said it plans to support the growth of Moyasoft into international markets and new platforms.

Nexon, a publisher and developer of free-to-play games such as Kart Racer, will also be working with Moyasoft to co-develop mobile games using its own franchises.

Moyasoft is best known for its game GodWarz, which has gone multiplatform with PC and smartphone titles.
