High-profile financial executive quits games industry

EA CFO Eric Brown resigns

A key player in Electronic Arts’ executive circle has announced his shock resignation from the publisher.

Chief Financial officer Eric Brown ends his four year spell at the company to join communications firm Polycom.

Brown, an unflappable public speaker who often led EA’s financial reports, has not explained the nature of his resignation.

"I am delighted to join Polycom at such an exciting time," he said in a press release issued by his new employer.
