New project 'allows young people to hear my music for the first time'

Sir Paul McCartney ‘to write videogame score’

Beatles and Wings man Sir Paul McCartney is writing music for an unknown games project, according to reports.

McCartney said the game will allow “young people to hear my music for the first time in a game".

“It’s a fascinating market. A new computer game sells so much better than a new CD these days,” he said, as quoted by the Daily Express.

The project would mark the second time the Beatles star has involved himself in games, having helped EA release The Beatles Rock Band game in 2009.
