What’s Out Today? w/e November 18th, 2011

Ancient swords, muscle cars, magic LEGO, Olympian hedgehogs, Racoon-suited plumbers and 5ft purple dildo bats – there’s something for everyone.

As we reported yesterday, it’s a blockbuster week for new releases with fresh hits from Nintendo, THQ, EA, Warner Bros, Ubisoft, Sega and Capcom.

THQ caters to the core gamers with the bizarre antics of Saints Row: The Third, the latest installment in the over-the-top open world series. Meanwhile, EA offers some slightly more serious vehicular action with Need For Speed: The Run.

Nintendo has two blockbusters out today, with Link’s long-awaited return in The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword and Mario’s 3DS debut in Super Mario 3D Land.

The portly plumber has a second title on shelves today, teaming up with Sega’s mascot again for Mario & Sonic At The London 2012 Olympic Games.

Also out today is LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7 (Warner Bros), ABBA You Can Dance (Ubisoft) and Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3 (Capcom).
