March release confirmed for FIFA Street comeback

Electronic Arts has revealed that its urban football game will arrive on shelves in March 2012.

The release window was confirmed by a leaflet included in all copies of FIFA 12, which launched last night in the UK, according to VG247.

Previously the only date given for the title was "early 2012", announced during EA’s press conference in Cologne, Germany.

FIFA Street is the fourth title in the series so far, but the first since Xbox 360 and PS3 title FIFA Street 3 in 2008. Like its predecessors, the game will see footie fans playing against teams of the best street football players in the world.

It will be released for Xbox 360 and PS3, and will be compatible with EA Sports Football Club, which also launched with FIFA 12 today.
