Mojang Specifications wins Download IP, New Studio and Micro Studio

DEVELOP AWARDS: Triple-whammy for Minecraft

A tiny team from Sweden won the most plaudits at the Develop Awards last night.

Mojang Specifications won three awards, thanks to the success of its still-in-beta Minecraft.

The team took home New Download IP, New Studio and Micro Studio.

Mojang’s famed creative Markus Persson (known online as Notch) was on hand to collect the awards himself, with colleague Daniel Kaplan – the first man he hired when turning his indie hit into a fully-fledged studio.
