Splinter Cell Trilogy delayed again

Ubisoft has announced a second delay to the release of PS3 only title Splinter Cell Trilogy HD.

Having previously been due out in March of this year the game has already been pushed back once to June.

It will now be released in the UK on September 23rd, right as the busy holiday shopping season gets going.

It’s also just a few days behind the release of Microsoft’s mighty Gears of War 3, though the difference in host platforms is likely to minimise any possible ill-effects of the clash.

Other Ubisoft titles to look out for include Your Shape Fitness Evolved 2012 (November) and Driver: San Francisco (September 2nd). The publisher’s next big release is Call of Juarez: The Cartel (July 22nd) while Ghost Recon: Future Soldier will be out at start of next year.
