SONY: NBA 2K12 gets Move support

The next instalment in 2K’s basketball sim series NBA 2K will be compatible with PlayStation Move.

The publisher has added motion sensing support for the title which will allow players to point the Move controllers at the screen to control the gameplay.

And what better way to show it off than to get professional basketball player Kobe Bryant to run through the game on stage.

Bryant demonstrated how players will be able to move characters, pass the ball, tackle opponents and shoot in-game without the need for a standard controller.

2K Sports took to the Sony stage at its E3 2011 conference to showcase the new tech.

NBA 2K12 is due out this October.
