CVG and Edge redesigned in time for E3 2011

Future will reveal brand new designs for its CVG and Edge websites on June 1st.

The sites arrive ahead of a revamped Edge magazine. The publication now boasts improved paper quality, a different page size and will be longer. The new look issue, which launches on June 7th, has 212 pages.

Edge’s new website includes a MyEdge feature that lets users follow topics, create personalised news feeds and access extended community tools.

Edge tells its audience what’s great, what works and what’s next,” said head of Edge international James Binns. The revitalised magazine is everything a modern magazine should be – beautiful, tactile, detailed and collectible. The new look website is slick, useful and fast – it truly delivers on the Edge brand.”

Meanwhile, Future says the new look CVG will be both ‘modern’ and ‘easier to navigate.’ The website – which has enjoyed 52 per cent year-on-year growth for the 12 months to April 2011 – will also feature a widescreen video player. 22.7m unique users visited the site in the last 12 months.

CVG associate publisher Don Ditri said: The relaunch re-affirms CVG’s position as the best gaming news website in the world.”
