Xperia Plays US launch dated

Sony Ericcson’s Xperia Play – the first PlayStation certified phone – will launch in the US next week.

The device has been available in the UK since April 1st, and will finally arrive in America on May 26th, reports Kotaku.

It will be exclusive to US mobile provider Verizon and will retail for $199, with a monthly charge $30.

The Xperia Play comes with seven pre-installed games, including classic PS1 platformer Crash Bandicoot, Madden 11, The Sims 3, Star Battalion, Bruce Lee Dragon Warrior and Asphalt 6: Adrenaline.
