Q-Games MD outlines growing despondency among PSN developers

Sony ‘needs to act or it will lose dev support’

Dylan Cuthbert, MD of the Japan-based studio Q-Games, has called for Sony to come to the aid of developers suffering from the PSN outage, or risk losing their backing.

"I have no idea yet what Sony are going to do to help developers such as ourselves but I have a feeling they are thinking about doing something or they will lose developers,” he told IndustryGamers.

“Which of course is pretty bad for them.”

Sony’s PlayStation Network has been down since April 20th, which Cuthbert said was definitely affecting his studio’s financial situation.

"At the moment I think they are running around patching holes etc., and in a week or two they’ll have something more concrete to say," he said.
