PS Blog gets a redesign

The US PlayStation Blog has had a major overhaul to make it easier for consumers to find info on the newest titles.

The new design was unveiled this week, which highlights the latest posts and content more effectively. The layout has been widened to account for the fact that most readers have a wider, high-resolution monitor.

The site also offers quick links to everything relating to selected upcoming releases, such as Infamous 2, SOCOM 4 and MLB 11. It also much easier to find the most recent updates on PlayStation Plus and PlayStation Home content, and the search box has been upgraded with autocomplete functionality.

Giving feedback via Twitter and Facebook a quicker process and there are additional links to related content at the bottom of each post.

The blog team wrote: We realise this new design will take some getting used to, and some of you will probably hate it outright – at least at first.”
