Ubisoft claims Kinect dominance

Microsoft’s motion controller launched with plenty of third-party support, but Ubisoft has claimed it is already the biggest third-party publisher on Kinect.

The company released three titles at launch: Your Shape: Fitness Evolved, Motion Sports and Fighters Uncaged.

Ubisoft believes this puts it far ahead of the competition and that its future line-up, including Child of Eden, will keep the firm on top, according to Industry Gamers.

We believed in the potential of Kinect from the start and we set out of be the leading third-party publisher,” said Ubisoft North America president Laurent Detoc. It worked. But this is only the beginning for us.

We’ll be bringing some of the industry’s most innovative offerings to Kinect soon, starting with Michael Jackson: The Experience, Child of Eden and others. We will have something for everyone.”

Michael Jackson: The Experience will be released for Kinect in the US on April 12th. Child of Eden has yet to be dated.
