March release for MotorStorm Apocalypse

Sony has announced on the PlayStation blog that PS3 racer MotorStorm: Apocalypse will be released in the UK on March 16th.

Notably, the release comes some way before the game is due to arrive at US retail on April 12th.

The third instalment in the MotorStorm series, the first of which was a launch title for Sony’s machine back in 2006, was announced at E3 in June last year.

The game will also be 3D compatible.

A range of pre-order freebies (which some in three flavours – Supercar, Rally Car and Superbike) are being offered by the publisher depending on the retailer from which customers buy the game.
