Bastion, the award-winning communications and marketing agency dedicated to the video games industry, has launched Bastion America, bringing exceptional service, strategic clout and proven international reach to games companies across North America.
Since 1992, Bastion has worked with some of the largest and most successful brands in the games industry, helping them to achieve momentum, grow and thrive. Bastion America will continue this mission with a dedicated US-based team, replicating the same high standards of service, creativity, and strategic thinking that have defined Bastion’s work for over 30 years.
Bastion America will be headed up by Rebekah Nicodemus, who previously led accounts such as Blizzard Entertainment during her time at Grayling before becoming Head of Product Communications at Amazon Games. Rebekah brings a wealth of experience across games, entertainment, technology and brand communications to the agency.
”As a client, I relied on Bastion to think strategically, solve problems independently and deliver consistently strong results,” said Rebekah. “They quickly became trusted collaborators and a true extension of my in-house team. I’m excited to bring the same rigor and excellent service, backed by a powerful global network, to Bastion America clients as we expand our presence in the US.”
“The games industry is truly global, and Bastion America makes it easier for American companies to achieve real momentum both domestically and internationally with our best-in-class service connected to OneVoice, the best games agency network serving the industry today,” commented Dean Barrett, Exec Chair of Bastion.
“We’ve worked closely with Rebekah while she was at Amazon and know that her drive to achieve is perfectly compatible with the Bastion client-first approach. She has a proven track record working in agencies, so she’s a great fit to help drive Bastion America forward,” commented Bastion’s Managing Director, Ravi Vijh.
Bastion America services will include strategic counsel, media and influencer relations, social and community engagement, corporate and crisis comms and marketing consultancy.
