Star Wars: Check. Batman: Check. Indiana Jones: Check. Harry Potter: Check. Pirates of the Caribbean: why not?

Yep, Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean films will be the next to receive the LEGO treatment, courtesy of UK developer TT Games.

LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean: The Video Game will be published by Disney Interactive Studios and arrives in May 2011 – tying in nicely with the release of the fourth film, On Stranger Tides.

The game was announced in a press release detailing nine new LEGO sets based on the films which will launch in Spring. According to the release, the video game will be available for multiple video game platforms” – we expect this means all of them”.

It will cover the first three films – The Curse of the Black Pearl, Dead Man’s Chest and At World’s End – and feature the usual TT Games/LEGO hallmarks of buildable objects, multiple characters and drop-in/drop-out co-op.
